Well the fishing could not of been any better this weekend... limits on every trip.. Sundays trip was a 7 man limit in just under 3 hours. The total weight of the 28 fish was 196 lbs. We fished out side the range cans. Trolled at 1.2 knots with reef runners back 20 to 40 feet back. Hot colors were bare naked and green flash.. What a great weekend.

Yes. we ran big boards out 250 feet from the boat. This time of year the fish come up to the surface because the top half of the water column is warmer. That is why I ran such short leads.Quote:

These fish were caught between d can and b can. Just outside the range bouys it does not matter were you go as long as your in 28 to 30 foot of water. Everyone that called me caught a limit of these same fish.. great day...Quote:

I had to settle for crappie and bluegill on a local lake. The weather looked questionable for Sunday afternoon however I am off work Wed/Thurs and hoping for good weather. I MUST GET UP THEIR ASAP!!!!!!

Skipper 9, Could you tell me what size series of reef runners you were running when you got that great box of eyes? When you run the reef runners, do you use a swivel and tie directly to the braid? Or do you use a mono or florocarbon leader and swivel? Thank You, 351 twins
