Since we cant hunt, I vote for reel sport to put a boat in and start chartering. I'll be first on board wayne!!
Reel Sport goes in the water 1st week of april, but the reports I got today were mind bogging the amount of fish that was caught
today was good, I can't give the report at this moment, but its right were I said they would be. Reel Sport Team.
wayne can you pm me the details, don't need location, just lures,etc... I think I am going to drop my boat in early, maybe last week of march if this weather holds
troy did you get the information. wayne
The reef complex out of turtle creek. Start trolling as soon as you get to clean water and a water depth of 22 to 32 ft out of turle creek. Troll at 1.0 mph. 60 to 90 back with reef runners and husky jerks. Color did not seem to matter. Just make sure you can go slow enough. Troll around the deep water around the reefs until you find active fish. The fish are gonna be in 22 to 32 ft of water. Reports from people trying to jig fish were poor Only the trollers caught fish... Hope this helps and good luck...
Went out saturday for 2 hours, left the house with almost 2" of snow. The lake was very clear, we pulled two eyes 5#' s plus. We were out by B can, pulling RR at 1.1 mph.
thanks wayne and skipper 9 for the information!
do you have your boat in the water yet man this weather is killing me I want to fish
Skipper 9 might go this weekend if weather is fit, you should come along!
The charter boats have to wait as for the marina's do not start putting in docks till late March. It would be nice to start earlier than we normally do. This could be the year that the docks go in a little early. Of course , we could get a nasty late winter and ice up all the harbors. Mother Nature is unpredictable, so be prepared for the joke of ice on the lake till late April.
Boat should be in the water the first week of April !
I am ready for some jigging myself, I am more than ready!
Greg's right. Have to wait till the end of march for our big boats to be put in. I will be in around the last week of march or so.
