Steelhead

Has anbody tied into a steelhead this season from the central basin? Please advise.........Thanks

just waiting for reports.Home bound right now with a bad cought.Hope someone finds some and posts the general area.

i have only heard of one boat in the area catching a steelhead so far this year. They were trolling out past the crib north out of downtown cleveland. If memory serves me correctly they were in 55 ft or so trolling spoons (orange crush) behind dispys 45-55 back, 3 setting. I'll keep my ears open.

We picked up one 27inch steelhead of the downrigger set at 53ft in 65fow behind the crib on a watermelon nothern king spoon

Night Magic- Was that an accidental catch or were you fishing for steel? I have a steelhead itch that needs a scratching. thanks for the post.

SPOONTANG, no accident on that siver bullet we had the downriggers out just for them, boards were out for walleye we got 3 of them

Try out in 66 ft. The marks are light but we pulled 3 today starting at noon. One was 13 lbs. Going to post picture. One came on a green and silver spoon 95 back on 3 setting the other two came on a chix wing 88 back on 3 setting
