I hear ya, our group was up there on a 4 day "vacation trip" that we do annually. We can't just pick up and be on the lake in a short notice so the weather ruined 2 of the days and we don't know if we can go back again this year. However, our first 2 days were great so I guess we can't complain too much...
The people are not to thick on weekdays but the walleye are!!!! wow never seen so many at one time in one place!!!

I hate it when it's a beautiful, perfect day to be on the lake, and I can't make it out there. I also hate it when i lose a walleye!!

i hate it when your buddys call you to go fishing at 6 am sunday and you turn them down because you drank to much on saturday night and then he calls you at 8.30 am and hes back at the dock with a limit. man i hate it when that happens

People complain about trollers. Whats so bad about us ??I see no difference of cast and retreival vs. dragging a lure 1.5 mph. Both lures are moving, both attract fish. The lake is big enough for all. Dont know why you would care ( unless your trolling buddies out fish you all the time like I do to mine who drift and jig and they complain ). You should care less how people fish as long as it is by legal means by Ohio or Mich DNR standards. Want something to complain about, worry about the nets set in the Great Lakes by tribals.

Who's complaining?......but, since you brought it up, yes- the lake is quite big enough for both parties to get along just fine, but it's when one of us trollers gets so close to a boat (or a pack of boats) that lines get constantly fouled, and it disrupts the pack.
Believe that's worth a complaint or two?

I hate it when you drive an hour to the lake, and everything has that feel of a "bluebird day", expectations are high, and the buddy who hasn't fished in over ten years is the only one to catch... the only keeper of the whole day!!!!

I'm with spoon on the computer thing! I hate it when it seems like every weekend something else is broke on the boat. And i Hate people who break into your boat and steel your SH%*.
Take it from a guy who usually has been up fishing and/or scuba diving several times by now, but hasn't seen Lake Erie yet this season. You know the saying - a day of fishing with little catch to show for it is better than a day mowing the lawn, attending a graduation, going to an organization meeting, working, etc., etc., etc...
If I had a boat and funds to go fishing on Lake Erie, I'd be happy, even if I didn't get up as much as I'd like and some days didn't catch many fish. I now long for the days back when I did have a boat and did spent most weekends up at the Lake.

I hate it when both fuel tanks are empty, I hate the $950+ fill ups even more.
Hay "happy campers", how about being glad when we return to the dock under our own power. Eventhough we may not have limited out, a slow day fishing is still better than a good day at work! Agreed?
