Looking for the bottom (butt end) 1/2 of a Shimano rod; Triton Downrigger rod; TDR- 1802; 8ft.; line = 8 -17 #; medium action. I had one break about 3" below where the top 1/2 slides into the bottom 1/2. Just thought someone might have one laying around from another old break. Thanks.
I have a diawa strike bottom. I broke my 8ft top last year poppin a rigger. Your welcome to it
Call shimano they may replace it... Its worth a try, okuma is usually no questions asked.

Hey save the rod end and hit the LOTSA sale in march at Niagara fair grounds there are lots of great deals on gear new and used. So maybe find even a half rod. Prices are reasonable and you never know what will be there.

No, but I've seen the boat around. If you want I have to go check on my other boat tomorrow at the club and can grab it and bring it to the launch. If he has a charter tomorrow, ask when he gets in and I will meet him.
