Perch report 8/22

2 guys, limit of 60 perch. Took around 5 hours, noon to 5 pm. We were in the large pack of boats 1 mile WNW of rattlesnake. Size was pretty lousy again, like always. Try to only keep 8" or better but usually keep the 7"+ that are already dead from swallowing the hook. I would say we were keeping about 1 in 3 or 4 perch. Did catch 4 walleye, all under 15 inches, but an encouraging sign. I think we only caught 4 perch all day over 9 inches.

Not sure where rattlesnake island is? Where is it in comparison to Toledo beach? Or outer light? Thanks!

Rattlesnake is NW of Put-in-Bay

We were in the same spot but in the morning. 5 of us ended up with 81. Too many small ones. We also caught 4 walleyes under 15".
