New Walleye Fisherman

Hello. I am fairly new to Walleye Fishing. I am planing a trip to Monroe Michigan in a couple of weeks and am looking for any help and advice I can get. I will be bringing my new boat, 19 foot Ranger aluminum 115 Optimax outboard and will probably fish out of Sterling State Park. I have planer boards and jet divers that I have used for Stripers and Lake Trout in PA but never on Lake Erie. I do know that weather and water conditions will be a big factor in taking my boat out.
