hello we are coming up from chicag to port clinton for some fishing next week(9/15)Also bringing our boat with GPS.Can any1 recommned spots for eyes and perch.Also does any1 have the locations(Lon &Lat) for the diffrent spots on lake erie that they can email me.Thanks
You should start by planning for perch. If you are in Port Clinton and use the Portage River, you will find them as close as G can just 3 miles from the river at a 346 heading. You will also find them by Green Island, almost due North at 10 miles, Niagra reef 346 at 10 miles, B can about 338 12 miles, West Sister Island 340 at 17 miles. There are a few eyes being caught near the Canada border. You might try smallies in many locations near Kellys Island and North Bass. The eyes could turn on. The local bait shops give good information too and you can pick up a chart of the Western Basin with all of the hotspots marked on it.
