The admiral and I got up early and drove to Ashtabula. Started fishing about 11:00 in 52' of water due north of Lakeshore Park. Marked lots of fish, but the bite was kinda slow. Moved deeper with even worse results so moved back near where we started and took almost a 2-person limit with the hot bite starting around 4:00 PM all the fish were over 9" with quite a few over 12". Lso a bonus 4 lb channel cat that was a hoot on perch tackle.
