Astabula Perching with Grandson 10/11&12

Fished NNW of Lakeshore Park in 62 foot depths. Saturday Started Fishing about 11:00 AM after trailering from Dayton. Slow Fishing until about 2:30 PM then the bite turned on we had a 3 person limit by 4:30 that weighed 43 lbs at the cleaners - largest perch I have ever seen.

Sunday fished the same area from 9:00 AM til 1:00 PM and the bite was slow - 12 keeper perch and lots of white bass and a couple of huge sheephead. Eveyone on the radio and at the ramp said fishing was slow. Wonder if the afternoon got hot again, but had to get the grandson back for school today.
