Conneaut Jumbofest Rounds 1and 2

Hit Conneaut Sunday and today.Sunday we put a 3 man limit of jumbo perch in the box by 10:30.We caught so many 13 inch perch I lost count.Threw back anything under 9-10 inches.Today we fished in a downpour and had a blast.We put a 2 man limit in the box by 10:30 and caught 2 bonus 24 inch walleyes on perch rigs.I am posting this here to try and help the folks who have been struggling in the western basin.This report is not BS.The perch fishing off of Asthabula and Conneaut is something you have to see to believe.I trailer my boat from Columbus and its an hour farther than Catawba but its worth it because the perch are literally freaks of nature.We went due north and fished in 70 ft. of water.Hopes this report gets your curiosity up and some of you give it a try.
