perch report 8/7/14

6 guys out today. Stopped east of ballast in 30 fow. 30 perch in 1.5 hours plus lots of sheepshead. Average grade of perch. Moved to green buoy to north by Lucy's point and pulled 40 more in 2 hours plus a walleye. Very nice grade of perch. All 9 plus with several 11s and a few 12 s. Spreaders with green blades and single hook rigs worked best. Whole minnows worked better than cut ones today. Decided to troll at 1230 and pulled 6 eyes. And lost four in a about two hours. 20 to 25 inch fish. 60 to 80 back on tt40s. Double willow blade harnesses in pink purple and orange caught the fish. All in all good day on lake

Glad to hear some decent eyes are being caught in the area! Maybe they are moving back to the West:)

fished 4 of us 3 hours south of green only captured 40 from 5:30-8:30 pm, Thursday evening. Really slow.

way to go troy we will be back out sat or sunday, combo trip. see you then, darn bluegills left our dock area.

I know Wayne we tried yesterday while the fish got cleaned. Did get a Nice bass though right under the front of ur boat! We will be out sat and sun mornings. Got room for you if I want to go
