6/6 Good Day Casting!

Two of us started casting near A Can Fri AM. After 3 fish in first hour, son called and said "they couldn't keep their poles in the water where they were at" They had a two man limit by 9:30.

We ran up to where they were SW of W Sister. Game on, picked up 7 more nice fish in little over an hour. Then lake went flat and hot and they shut down. We gave it a little while, and then decided, heck we don't need to spend maybe two more hours just to get 2 more fish to say we filled our two man ticket. Started out throwing a mayfly rig, but it kept tangling so switched to green/chartruse Parish Banana spinner. Soon as I did, game on. Going to order some more of that lure.

Gut trough was getting full at Turtle Creek cleaning station. I think 8 crews cleaning when we were there and everyone had a full cooler. More activity there than I have seen in a while. Beautiful weather, beautiful day.
