Better late than never
Yesterday I didn't hit the water until noon. Ran from Catawba S.P. to a spot 2 miles west of a line half way between Green and Rattlesnake and trolled east aiming at Perry's monument. "O" dipseys back 88 feet on a 3 setting at 1.8 mph with Yeager Bomb and Nascar off a 6 foot leader. Limit! As anyone can read from all the posts, the game is on... Be safe and courteous as the lake gets more crowded.

the bite was on yesterday not fast and furious but steady, most fish came on a 40 tt 70 back stinger spoons 1.6 to 1.8mph rays raz dolphin best spoon. 1 10 pounder on a #1 dipsey 55 back on the 3 setting with a pink crawler harness. 4 fish on the dipsey. fished east of Kelly's in the pack. the big walleye had 2 white perch in her belly. that fish was so fat we thought it still had eggs it was only 29 inches long. just a theory lots of big marks on the bottom I think the big girls are feeding on the perch sponing and making it a tuff bite.
