Finally the Army-Corps-of-Engineers have released their report on how to keep the carp out of the Great Lakes. Lets hope they don't drag their feet to long before they actually do something~!!

Don't you think by the time it takes them to even start the plan, then another 10-25 yrs to finish it will be to late........

Ha ha! We're screwed! The present administration ( Dems & Reps) can't/Won't do anything. Impeach everyone & start over with the philosophy of our forefathers. It's service! NOT a career. Good bye Great Lakes sport fishing. Sorry for the ramble but facts are facts. We're screwed!

From a farmers perspective the answer is easy. It's a business decision. The Chicago River is man made. It delivers water FROM Lake Michigan to the Mississippi. ANSWER! Poison it daily.heavy dose & daily. Like a deer drive. Squeeze & please. More chemicals. Kill all fish. Keep killing and move south slowly (fish move & follow current). 2 steps forward & one back till ya get to New Orleans. We can replace with hatchery fish what we want. My thoughts!

I like the way you think Jig.....That would actually work if they could keep the chemicals out of lake Michigan and the Mississippi. Just like killing a pond to start over on stocking. Problem is they are in the Mississippi so the fish will most likely run back up the river.
