I dock out of LeMarin at Catawba, has anyone been doing well on perch near the islands? or the cans? would rather not run 20+ miles to the intake. any reports would be appreciated, good or bad. have seen some reports from east of ballast but its been over a week now
Last saturday and sunday picked 4 man limit of perch both days, 1/2 mile west of rattlesnake in 32-33 fow. Bite was slow but picked up at times, lots of whities. Size was average but we did pick a few jumbos.
We did pretty good north of B can over the weekend it was slow but we didn't catch any trash fish
Gonna try g can and east of ballast on Friday morning! Heard good reports! Look me up on 79 maybe we can play tag team?

I plan on trying east of Ballast Friday morning also. I have a 25 ft center console w/ green T-top. I'll monitor Ch 79. Give a shout out to me (handle- The Big E). May try walleye first thing and depending on how that goes will switch to perch.
