Hello All,
I am coming up with my son friday for the weekend, first trip since the jig bite(divorce...she got the house but I kept the boat!) I was hoping some of the walleye chasers here could give me some advice on a program and a starting point. I have all the trolling gear except down riggers. I was would like to stay in the western/ central basin if possible.

U gotta b more specific of where ur putting in at the programs vary alot
Take the time to read the current threads on this website and the Lake Erie current threads on the Ohio Game Fishing Community website. It will take a while but after you have covered all the reports over the last week you will have more than enough info to point you in the right direction. I find it helpful to take notes on what seems important so you don't have to go looking for something you remember reading but not exactly where. When a presentation and/or a location is repeated by several sources the picture becomes more clear and your chances for success are greatly improved. Also listen on Ch. 68 and 79 while on the water. It won't get any more current than that.
