Hot Casting Lures

Sounds like the action has been solid lately. I'm getting excited to be on the water (Vermilion) tomorrow. Does anyone have any suggestions on setup for a caster like me? We are planning to use weapons, crawler harnesses (probably on a bottom bouncer) and erie dearies tipped with worms. Any update on depth for the fish? It seems like trollers are catching fish from 30 - 40 FOW but earlier 10 - 20 was suggested.

I'm not a great fisherman, so if you hear anything else from someone else, they probably know better than me. If it were me, I'd be in the 30-40 fow doing exactly what your thinking. I'll be heading west out of vermilion a few miles and trolling in 35-37 fow just like I did 3 or 4 days ago. We had a great day that day. Hope I have the same results. Good luck!
