Perch Perch Perch!!!!!!!!!!!! 8/23/12

Got out late today but got the job done. Left my slip at meinkes marina west around 3:30pm and headed out NE of the water intake. 5 minutes into letting the rigs out and fish on my buddy who has never fished for perch (nor have I) has the first fish of the day. While after that action was hot and heavy with a total of 20 fish in an hour, three being white bass and two sheep head. Off the water at 5:00pm due to a dinner obligation but while worth going out. Shiners and a spreader in 20ft of water worked well. I do have a question what the slot limit on perch, how small is two small just for verification. Just an FYI if you see a green and aluminum boat with "JR" on the side thats me.

There is no size limit in perch. Wildcats you gotta take what the lake gives you if you want fish to eat. But generally for us we will keep 7s on up.
