Shiners

Any shiners available on the west end? Happy Hooker says they are next to impossible to get right now.

Rickards had them last Friday. Not sure about now.

The high winds and dirty water have shut the boats down. They can't net them if they can't find them, or they can't get out ue to the wind. Full moon coming on next week may really put a bind on fresh shiners for the next 2 weekends!

I like to keep some in the freezer for occasions like this. Best of luck out there. Not sure if I will make it out this weekend or not.

You might want to try Turtle Point, get there early they don't last.

You can get shinners at Fisherman's Cave in Erie Mi on Summit st.. Or any of the other Michigan bait shops..
