Sunday Perch

Fished just North and East of Airport Reef, East o Kelley's, Sunday afternoon 2 to 4:30. My wife and I caught 2 tickets of perch. Her first time perch fishing. Maybe she will want to go more often now.

38' of water gold and gold with green bead spreader worked the best. Chummed with half minnows. Bigger perch liked the bigger minnows. Very lite bite.

I am proud of her for getting the feel so quickly on her first time. Back in time to miss the storm and clean fish in te dark. Will be there again today with a friend just finishing up his chemo treatments.

Went back to the same spot Monday evening.

Only 32 between two of us in about 3 hours. Crazy light bite. Nothing consistent about it. Sometimes slack on the bottom otherwise looking or. Very slight change in the ip bounce and then lift slowly o see if there is something there before setting the hook. Gold and green spreaders.
