I think that was wise
Very wise move!!! It should be a good to go weekend if the winds stay away. The lake is already starting to clear up!
Typically I would have been untying the boat and heading out but I’m trying to fish smarter.

Wind lol.. we were out.. crazy.. we didn't get a limit but we brought back a nice coolers.. (had to hide behind north bass. M)Lol..
what a 2 days. Went out Friday, but did not hit lake until 11 am and fished until 4;30 on Friday. 4 eyes, nice size in Wagon Wheel area. 6-8 boats in area and did NOT see alot of nets going down. Drifted at 1.2, boards out, trying to hit the 15-20 depth, very little junk that day. Saturday was tough, 4-6 footers, fished east of Middle and North Bass-lots of sheephead and had to put out large bag just to get speed down to 1.6. Fished harnesses, but fished for only 2 hrs, really got beat up and beat up going back to put in bay for night of drinking beers. Sunday home to Port Clinton and tough ride Sunday morning. Still would like a evening or morning half day with you someime late June or early July. Thinking maybe they will be north of Huron/Bowl area by then?? 2 guys prefering drifting or casting, but know that trolling gets more eyes. Any thoughts
