friday reel sport had a two man crew, limited out in no time flat,
6 miles north of water intake, sat, same program, another limit catch, sunday a different story, troll around west sister, gravel bed, turn around, and to michigan line, 2 men charter, 10 walleyes to the boat, 6 keepers, mark a ton of fish just wouldn't bite or couldn't get thru the whitebass and sheepheads, did see
a couple of great perch cathes of reno beach area.

Hey guys I know there was a ton of mayflys in Oregon by Cedar Point rd. the last few nights. Think that may have slowed things up?
I took 33 walleye Sunday casting and #2 boat took 37 walleye today while trolling.Quote:

The mayflies did start early like I thought they would, nearly 2 weeks early.
Walleye are somewhat high in the water column so short counts and shorter leads make it happen, just make long casts if drifting and keeps the boards away from the boat when trolling.
