Got to figure out how to get photo off my phone and onto site but I am positive it is a white bass. Fish Ohio is 16 in mine was thirteen so they get pretty big
you might want to check you scale I find it hard to believe a 13 inch fish any species can weigh 8 pounds. I've landed 16 inch white bass and they were about 2 pounds. I guess anything is possible.
checked on both scales could be hybrid i guess but this sucker was huge hopfully photo loaded

We got a 9 lbs walleye this weekend and it was a monster haha and you couldn't hold it with one hand :) ...... Still a nice bass ! Fun to catch
Captain good to see you have a sense of humor we need more people like you, life is short lets enjoy it and catch lots of fish. We are so lucky to have Lake Erie so close by.
