Sat. May 5 Fishing report

Trailered the boat from Fenwick to Catawaba State Park.Picked up one nice walleye by Green on a purple harness/bottom bouncer in 30ft.Moved to escape wind to an area just west of Middle Bass Island.Picked up 3 including a really nice double right over a plot on my GPS that showes "submerged cables"I don't know why but we picked off 3 nice fish in 10 minutes on that spot.Fished until around 3PM and other than a couple of nice yellow perch we struck out.Had both drift socks out but I think my 30 ft. Rinker is just to much boat to fish in the winds we had today.Still,it was great to be out catching fish.
