maybe you can answer a question for me .. I just got a perch rig in the mail from skipper9 .. what is the loop with the bead for just above the bottom hook ..? I'm trying (unsuccessfully) to duplicate it .. I just need more practice I guess ...
If I understand you correctly?
That loop is the top of the rig the swivel on the bottom is for weight.

what are the knots that create the loops where the hooks are tied ...? I'm assuming the knots that hold the hooks are just palomar knots ...?:confused:
The hooks are tied with palomar knots then I just tie three over hand knots at the length away from the main line that I want the hook at. Not sure if that's what skipper 9 does but it works for me
