Weekend Perch Report

Saturday fished out of meinkes 7 miles, just north of gravel pit. 3 man limit in 3 hours plus 1 20 inch walleye 25 lbs at cleaners. Thanks skipper 9 for posting a picture of your perch rigs...I made up a few and they worked like a charm. Outfished the spreaders 2 to one.

Sunday went ot same spot as above, slow pull. Moved out by turnaround buoy and it was game on. 5 man limit 35 lbs at cleaners...Smaller fish but 2 newbys that were keeping everything they caught. Got two walleyes, 1 18 and 1 12 inch. Also caugt 3 smallmouths. 1 was 4lbs plus. All three were released unharmed. Most fish caugt on skipper 9 rigs again. 2 good days on water for sure.

its head to head with light gauge spreader, single hook rigs
