Geneva perch 8/31 and 9/3

Well, Wednesday's perch fishing was kind of a bust. We fished all day long from 38 FOW out to 52 FOW and managed to put 35 perch in the cooler between 3 guys, threw about the same amount back looking for bigger fish. I decided to give it another try on Saturday. The morning started out much the same as Wednesday's trip. After about an hour and a half of poor fishing, I pulled away from the pack and headed east about 4 miles east of Geneva marina in 40' of water. I drift fished for about 45 minutes until i got into a consistant bite then dropped anchor, and it was on!!!! 90 minutes later we had a 3 man limit and probably threw back 30, only keeping fish over 9" with a few over 12.
