friday fish report

Started trolling east of bouy no.2 one small walleye and junk
fish, lots of marks no takers, most on radio same report, bad storm last night turn them off. quickly
switched to perch, boat limit in 3 hrs , 3.75 fish per lb. 1 mile east of Toledo light no.2 10.35 miles out of mienkes, had to sort at first, waves layed down and alge bloomed, so I put my new fish caller down loaded it with rice and dead minnows, then
spread white rice around boat, we were catching everyone else
slowed way down, our size increased big time. Field tested
skipper 9 perch rig vs wayne single hook rig, day one a tie,
skipper 9 rig got big perch 13.25 inches to wayne rig got a 11 incher
but the single hook rig took a few more of the finky perch. shinner are very small need two per hook, light wieght spreader
