Geneva friday 7/22
Fished geneva today just me and tammy, started to set rods at 6:30am and had a fish before the second rod was set. Picked eye's until around 10:00am finished with 12. 03/52 line heading NE, 3oz inlines 115 to 120 back at 1.5 to 1.8 mph
all pink colored front and back Colorado blade's. Man was it nice to finish Quick before the cooker turned on high today. Great day on the lake today and a good vac day off work. Got home early enough to get ready for tomorrow. Nice seeing and talking to the OGF guy's also.

It's clear that the eye's are eating well. Half of that catch looks like ol pot bellied largemouths! Good to know that the forage base remains strong. Anyone got an early read on whether the 2011 spawn was a total loss with the spring weather? Silt had to have a devastating role and I'm wondering if DNR will post opinions. Other than that, absolutely awesome catch:)
