Coming to Islnds in late Sept. I would like to do some smallmouth fishing and been told the Ruggles Beach to Vermillon area is the best spot-200-300 yds from shore. Any thoughts-probably will stay at Put-in-Bay so if Isalnd fishing for Smallmouth good there would just stay around the Bass islands. Any help would be aprreciated.
