In close

lots of eyes being caught in close from the danger zone 1 bouys to crane creek area. Leave it to me to go way to far and manage only two legal eyes, 1 on Sat & 1 on Sun. caught lots of 10 inch shorts though. I could not keep the bigger fish on the hook I was losing them about 10 ft from the boat, yes they were easy to see in that clean water 15 miles out, live and learn. Friends stayed in close and caught fast limits just off the shore in 15 to 20 ft of water some on cranks some on spoons. Still alot of nice eyes in the area. Sorry don't have any leads or speeds, purple seemed to be mentioned most often as the hot color.
