Saturday 5/21 report

Two of us fished North of North Bass right on the North face of the number 4 red can. We ended up with 5 nice size and healthy walleye with a couple of 28 inchers. We trolled flat line with dipsey's pulling warm harnesses at 1.8 mph with purple firetiger taking the most fish, gold didn't take any. We caught ours 5 feet off the bottom in the 35 ft dept area along the channel. When we found active fish we made a tight circle back over them. We watched several others taken on top of our hot spot. Saw 3 caught within a couple of minutes by other trollers. Casters were catching some too but not like the trollers. The water was much better out there and we could see the good water coming our way while we fished.
Also, we always seemed to catch when we were headed West to East, probably the direction the fish were moving.
