I read about you guys fishing the reefs and cans . Does anybody run your boat there from a Michigan launch. Or do you put in in Ohio. I have been out and ran out to the light house. But West sister and the reefs seem a far run to me. I have a 20 ft Starcraft fishmaster. I usally put in at Bolles Harbor.

That is a very long run to the reefs. The majority of the reefs the guys talk about are Southeast of West Sister, probably another 7 miles. As I recall from Bolles it is a pretty good run to West Sister. So, you even have further to go. You would be ahead to trailer around if you can.
The reefs are a good ways away from MI water. Your best bet would be trolling around the dump or fish right off of turtle island
