5-7 thru 5-10 report

Lake Erie report out of Turtle Creek fishing all the reefs:
Saturday: 2 walleye on worm harness, 1 smallmouth purple hair jig
didn’t see many nets in the water.

Sunday: 2 walleye blade baits, winds died down at 7pm caught (8) smallmouth
all over 5 lbs with blade baits high in the water column in 1hr before dusk.

Monday: 2 walleye blade baits, a few boats netting walleye maybe (8) all day.
East winds 3 ft swells

Tuesday: no fish other than junk white bass and sheep head. Same east wind
3 ft swells,

A few notes all the males were 4-5 lb full of milk, we threw blades, hair jigs, worm harness, and trolled Sat. Very few boats were trolling. So many dead walleye prolly counted 100 floating upside down.

I hope things turn around soon, one more trip June 1st, and gas prices are so high :( if coming from the west on I80/90 tollway avoid Indiana Mobil as they are robbing drivers without a gun! selling reg. 87 octane gas at $4.49 as of Tuesday night.
