fished off island yesterday and today. caught 5 eyes in the afternoon on the 3rd. one was short. lost several more. ice is getting ok. will be good by weekend. open water thru passage all the way to toledo looks like from air. will be a while for any fishing off mainland. I will be fishing off island everyday after thursday.
