walleyes still hot

three of us fished monday afternoon 4/19, we went just west of niagra reef and landed 10 walleye averg. about 21" to 26" jigging with purple and john deer green, no bait, in about 14 fow. went out tuesday morning to k can area, had a few but slow, then noticed most boats were shallow towards besse and decided to move that way. once we jioned the other boats we killed em, 12 to 14 fow, 54 degree water temp, we were so close to shore in front of besse that we could of casted on shore, lol, using purple and black jigs, no bait. casting and slow jigging. even at times just left lure over board bouncing on bottom to take a break and landing a few. though the eyes were smaller in size still limited in about four hours. also hearing reports that some are catching female loaded with eggs, hummm.
