7/25-26 fishing out of Sterling St Pk

Went out 7/25 3PM after the storm blew through, still strong winds (15 or more mph with 4' rolling chop). Fished Fermi towers and Brest Bay - no walleye on FF. Got small perch and sheephead, walleye are gone from there. Went out again Sunday morning 7/26. Headed straight out of Sterling (slightly north) to the border, marked tons of fish, but very unwilling to bite. Got two eyes (15" & 20") on 1oz bottom bouncers using a double white float and pink beads homemade worm harness. countinuous 3-4 footers all morning made me call it a day at 11:30am. Talked to a DNR surveyer at the dock - he said I did good, not many boaters coming back yesterday with fish.
Thinking about West Sister this Friday...hows the action out there?
