Perch?

What was going on today? It?s like it?s September today. Huge pack of boats looked to be perching north, and south of green when I was on the ferry this morning. All gone by the time I came back at 1:15. I have been out scouting for a week now. Nothing as far as perch goes. Crazy to see a fall perch pack this early on a Wednesday! Anyone catching anything, or just wishful thinking?

My Buddy fished yesterday on fisherman wharf head boat by G can.Caught his limit of walleye casting and then caught 10 yellow perch with emerald shiners he brought along.

Good to know. I usually don?t go that far west, but occasionally head for the cans. Thanks for the info.
