I would think with this prolonged blow the water would be pretty muddy around the western basin.No reports from that area either.
Thanks, I guess I will put the boat up for the season and patiently wait for early spring bite. I was holding out but it is time. It was either go to the lake for one more outing or sit in the blind on opening day, which is not a bad thing :) Thank you very much for the reply.
I was out to Vermilion last Saturday and was marking fish in 38 to 42 fow, but we ended up coming back in soon because we had 15+ mph winds out of the NNE and were getting 3 to 4 footers. If I was going tomorrow I would think Huron to Lorain would be your best shot of success, but it's a farther drive as well. :( The link below has a good satellite image as of today.
