May 31 report

I made it up to the lake around 3pm, had the boat set in and ran out to Green to start fishing around 4ish. I was on a North troll in search of cleaner water. The water was fugly. Didn't pick my first fish to around Rattlesnake. Still dirty water. kept going North. Found a pocket of decent water due West of West Reef (North Bass)about a mile or so and bam - double header. Kept on North and nothing. Worked back to the clean water and picked fish till dark. Landed 20. Big fish was 27.5. Average was 24. They were all grey as if they havn't seen sun and clean water in a while. Scorpion size spoons worked best. Chicken wing or anything copper also sunkiss were productive, under 2mph worked best. All fish came off down riggers. I ran 1 jet and several cranks and nothing. Fish were all caught 22-29 down. Just looked at the satellite image and I'll be damned, you can see clean water right where I caught my fish.
