G can (firing rage marker) Walleye Report July 2, 2025

Many boats today at G can area ( A Camp Perry range marker) , (north west of Port Clinton) all the Head Boats were in this area, all just west of G can.
The head boats did move around, however they ended it with all of them in a string from North to South and just west of the G can.
Drifters and Trollers were working it hard. I got two walleye keepers, one yellow perch, 8 sheephead and 8 white perch. Using golden worm harness and a spreader with no bling.
A nice breeze and not so hot,
not sure how soon it will be for the yellow gold perch run, but will keep you posted if it picks up for this Dog.
Gut pile report for the walleye and yellow perch was mayflies.

This area has been hot for the last 3 weeks or more. I'm surprised the walleye have stayed close for this long, but sure makes it nice having fish close by!
