Port Clinton Walley driffitng Sat jUNE 28
Went out of Port Clinton from Portage River 4 man crew headed out due North 4 miles out. We got to 21 foot of water 7 AM waves about 2 foot found some good marks fish was in the 15 foot range from 21 foot depth used gold 1/2 oz Erie Derie and gold 36 inch single gold blade worm harness 1/2 oz sinker casted out count was 8 and as soon as it was in the drift start reeling we caught 20 nice walleye from 17 to 21 inch was surprised that some came from 16 foot of water we drifted into we was drifting at .8 to 1.2 mph was reeling slow as soon as it got in drif.t There 3 head boats close to us and some others boats, Seen a lot boats heading out to Cedar Point and out past Islands. Glad we stayed in the 4 mile range.
Hope this helps others that like to catch Walleye drifting and casting.
