Thursday walleyes

Was fishing from shore by the launch ramps on north side of KI Thursday Afternoon for a couple hours. I asked all the returning boaters how they did as they walked by me to get their trailers. Must have been over a dozen. All but 1 reported Limits. The 1 was only 1 short of limit. Guess I don't see any posts here as most were from out of state. Most were trolling/drifting from the tip of Kellys Shoal towards Middle Island with the wind. Dummy me didn't bring the boat. Anyway, the walleye bite is strong right now. BTW, I wasn't doing so bad on shore. Caught a bunch of 2/3 pound smallmouth and largemouth bass. Even a couple small pike for fun.
