Launched at 7, strait out to 71’, put the 15 knot west wind at the stern……wrapped up at 11 am with 30 good ones in the box 2 miles east of Ashtabula😳. Docked at the Lake Shore Bait and Tackle because I didn’t wanna drive 10 miles into six footers with 15 knot headwind! Lovely lady at the bait shop, Susie was so kind to drive me up to Geneva to get the truck and trailer! Such a great person.

They were hitting everything. Dipsys on the outside 3 setingt at 150-160 and insides 0 setting around 100 to 110. It didn’t matter what you had out there, they were slamming. Michigan stingers any color and worm burners

Actually, nice to hear there are still nice people out there. Usually, stories like this end up on the 11 o'clock news.
Is Susie an employee or just another customer at the bait store?

She's actually the owner and been the owner for 16 years! She simply leases the rights from the state to use the launch. BTW - I thought launching there was free. $6.........but I gave her a $20 and many many thanks. If you're launching there and see a woman in her 60s with a small dog, tell her you heard about how she helped out!
