Got 18 yesterday straight west of mouse over to F Can. Bandits 55-100 back. Baits with orange and pink bellies with chrome sides were best. All eaters, no big fish. Several shorts. 2.0-2.3 SOG. Headed towards Huron today to try and find a bigger grade of fish.

I struggled a lot more on Sunday and Monday. Fished around D can, the triangle, north of Kelley's and between mouse and cedar point. Did not mark a lot and fished almost all day in both days. Only got 16 in those two days. Others diduch better on spinners than I did on Bandits.
So, I got a couple dozen worms and went to Huron yesterday. I fished 30-35 FOW between Huron and Vermillion. Tons of fish and they were hungry. Got 18 in a couple of hours. Spinners out fished Bandits 3 to 1. Speed 2.0-2.3. Hope this helps.
Great job, nice to see you got out to fish...I'm going to be out there 6-3 to 6-7. Hopefully I can find them still hungry. probably launch at Catawba.
The water temp is already 68 degrees. I'd strongly consider fishing East and definitely run works with a few bandits mixed in. My next trip will be to Ashtabula.
