Perch fishing today

Another slow day for me on the lake, however the 10 that I kept were of better size than on Sunday. Suprised to see lots of green algea this time of year. Also lots of black bugs floating on the water, large areas came floating past, just wondering if they came up from the bottom ?? Had to move 5x to get the few I caught. Freezer is getting a better stock but still need more or it will be a slim winter !!

Same experience as airshot for the 2 of us in my boat today, on the east side of the firing range. We kept 30 perch, most were 8-10".
Nice day fishing the western basin, my first time launching at Catawba this year.
I'm giving the state restroom there a 5-star rating!
