Last trip
Last weekend of the year started with a bang today. After coming within 50 feet of the nets a mile south of G can at first light (grrrr) at half throttle, I went around them and stopped 1/2 mile south of the can. Didn't take but 5 minutes before they started. It was slow but steady with the bigger fish coming first. I had 20 in the box by 9 so I started keeping just the Chunkers for the next hour. They really turned on around 930 but the bulk of them being in the 7-8 inch range. Great news for next year. 11 pounds at the cleaners. Hopefully it's a repeat tomorrow to finish off another fantastic season

Re: Last trip
Day #2- Same location, same results. Except... The first fish of the day was a 23" chunky walleye. Back at the cleaners by 10:30 and sadly cleaned the boat up to go into hibernation. To all a safe and enjoyable off season. Back at it April 1st.
