Generally it takes 3 days of west/south winds to clean up the water. I live in Toledo so I am spoiled, but I wont fish in east winds (I go golfing). Never seem to do well and i try to be more of an angler vs fisherman. Its one of my weaknesses. Just a thought.
Good Luck and Good Fishing

Very interesting. Wished I would have been fishing in the late 70's vs the other past time I had at the time (i.e. college life). It is still popular in the the Toledo area for our elders to call Walleye a Pickerel. This must be what caused the indentification difference between now and then. Again, Thanks. A very interesting read.
Thanks also very interesting we need to be cereful of what we still have and protect there reproduction after reading I have more appreciation for conservation
Sorry for the info on the wrong thread. Still good reading
