Going to head out of sterling state park tomorow 5/1. Any advice on where to head, what type of tackle/rigs to throw out. Was planning on trolling but would like to know if people have been out and what they are doing. Also in regards to location do you think heading up towards the river mouth would be good?
Put in at Sterling Monday morning (4-27) 1st time this year. 2 man limit, tried crawlers, no go, Switched to Bandits 50 back off boards. 16 -20’ of water in front of the state park. Clown and blue back chrome took most. 17-23” males. Water was 44 deg. 1 mph troll. Good number of boats out there. Be safe.
